Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first began to meet him in 2007 in an actor's workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton in the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place May of 2013, and her son was who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode. The news was announced to viewers of the show during an episode of the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning to the production. Fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
